FORT MYERS, Fla., 12/8/24 — Bahia Bowls is proud to announce that the brand has been officially approved to open a new location inside Terminal A of Orlando International Airport (MCO) in partnership with HMSHost, a global leader in food and beverage operations for travel venues.
As part of the airport’s multi-year concession transformation plan, the new Bahia Bowls location will be prominently positioned at the main entrance of the food court, offering outstanding visibility to nearly 60 million travelers moving through one of the nation’s busiest airports. This high-traffic placement represents an extraordinary opportunity to introduce the cafe’s fresh, vibrant menu to a diverse audience of guests and establish itself as a landmark of Central Florida dining.
“We’ve been working diligently on this project for the better part of 2025,” said Van Hatziyianis, CEO and Co-Founder of Bahia Bowls. “This moment marks a major milestone for our brand, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our signature flavors to Orlando International Airport.”
Hatziyianis also emphasized deep gratitude for the franchise community, whose dedication and success made this opportunity possible. “Without the hard work, passion, and commitment of our franchisees, getting to this point simply would not have been possible. We are proud of what we’ve built together and excited for what lies ahead.”
The new Bahia Bowls location at MCO is expected to begin development soon, with additional details to be shared as the project progresses.
